MembershipThere are two levels of membership of OMTAustralia 1. Titled membersTitled members have completed the full course of OMT postgraduate study, either in Australia or overseas. They are entitled to use the letters MOMTA (Member of the Australian Association of Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapists) after their name. Australian MOMTA physiotherapists have completed either a Master of Health Science in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (MHlthSc(OrthoManipT) through Charles Sturt University, or an advanced Post Graduate Course (OMT2). Overseas MOMTA physiotherapists have been assessed as having reached an equivalent level of proficiency in OMT practice. Titled members are proficient and safe in the full range of OMT practice, including the use of high velocity thrust manipulative techniques. 2. Associate membersAny physiotherapist can become an associate member of OMTAustralia, allowing them to take advantage of lower course rates and to network with OMT physiotherapists.
JMMT is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of reviews of the literature that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of manual therapy, clinical research, therapeutic practice, and academic training. Members of OMTAustralia can opt in on their membership form to receive a print-only subscription to the journal at a reduced rate.
